There is so much to see and do at Euro Disney. It’s tough to decide what is a must and a maybe. Above are the top 12 rides that are a real hit with young kids. Our son turned five at Disneyland and although we would have liked to experience a few more rides, these were a hit.

Even during the colder off season, Disneyland Paris was still busy with long lineups and many kids – and we were there from Sunday to Tuesday – not even a weekend!

If long line ups that to their credit do move quite quickly are not your thing, you can pay 90 euros per person extra to get a premier access pass. This pass will whisk you past the long lines on every ride or attraction. However, if the 90 euro price seems a bit much you can also pay for advanced access per ride.

So, if you find yourself running out of time there are single passes you can buy ranging from 5 euros to 13 euros a person.

If you happen to be visiting the park alone or with friends or adult family members you can join the singles lines that will get you onto your favorite rides usually within five minutes. This is a great option as you don’t have to pay extra and who knows you might make new friends.

Pirates of the Caribbean

This ride as a lot of fun. After walking down a long, dark winding path we got into boats that took us past many pirate-themed scenes. We passed the restaurant as well deep in the Pirate’s cavern.

The Phantom Manor

The phantom manor is a fun ride and not very scary. You sit in two seater rides and it passes by scary haunted house themes. At times the ride swivels around as you go up and down through the dark hallways of the manor.

Storybook Land Canal Boats

This was a fun ride. We sat in boats and toured through various classic storybook scenery. Definitely a nice ride for younger kids.

Casey Jr. Circus Train

This fun train ride zips around the storybook boat canals. Another great ride for little kids though I have to say there were all ages in line.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant

A great ride the goes higher and lower through the air with a push of a button. It’s located in the middle of Fantasyland so it’s a great way to get a nice view of the park.

The Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups

I consider myself a bit of an expert on Tea Cup rides and Mad Hatter’s tea cups did not disappoint.

Star Tours

This ride is fantastic. You sit in a room(space shuttle) with at least 60-80 other passengers wearing 3D glasses. The room moves in unison with the film played out on the screen at the front of the room.

You really can lose yourself in the story and believe that you are falling into the ocean or narrowly missing being shot down by enemy storm troopers.

Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast

My husband and son had so much fun on this ride. We were able to squish in together but I think usually the ride is a two seater. There are two laser guns on the front of the ride that you use to shoot disks that are placed all over the rooms (galaxies). You get points for every disk you hit with your laser gun.

Buzz Lightyear

As we moved from room to room(galaxy to galaxy) my husband and son took it so seriously and racked up thousands if not hundreds of thousands of points. I took photos and videos and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and the excitement of my family. This was probably one of the longest lines we waited it but it was worth it.

Ratatouille is another ride where you wear 3D glasses and sit in a swively ride going from room to room in the Parisian restaurant featured in the movie. This ride was almost as thrilling as the star wars ride but for some reason my son found it scarier -lol! Maybe it’s because an angry chef was chasing us.

Crush’s Coaster

A fun roller coaster for little kids. But the lines are always incredibly long. So, if you’re adament about trying this ride be sure to get to the park early and visit this ride first.

Magic Carpet Ride

Another flying ride with controls to move up and down. I like these rides. They give you a nice thrill and some great views of the park!

The Curious Labyrinth

Not a ride but a maze to walk through in search of the Alice and Wonderland castle that boasts wonderful views of Fantasyland.

Well, I hope this blog post help get you inspired about the Magical world of Disneyland Paris, a.k.a Euro Disney. We had a lot of fun and are glad we made the trip.

It was actually the perfect time of year to go as the lines were shorter and we weren’t sweating in the hot sun while waiting. However, next time we would stay another day or pay extra for the premier access passes. There were so many rides we didn’t get a chance to do!

Character’s Dance Party

There are street performances with characters or loads of dancers a few times a day. It’s a great opportunity to take a break from rides and share some happy vibes with fellow patrons and staff.

Don’t forget to visit the dragon underneath the Disney Castle!
