I’m a huge fan of vegan, plant-based, ethical, and sustainable fashion! As long as it’s made with consideration for animals, people, and the planet in safe environments with fair labor practices – I’m in!

That might sound like a tall order, but you would be surprised how many brands make stylish, comfortable clothing and check off all ethical boxes. And at reasonable prices!

Of course, some brands are making exquisite bags, shoes, and jewelry with higher price tags, but I have been pleasantly surprised over the years by how many garments I found at fair prices or on sale. I hope you will check this space often as I feature monthly favorites.

Finally, a style trend I was made for! I’ve been all about Whimsical, storybook chic style for years! I can’t wait to lean into this era with fashion and lifestyle choices. Dresses, plates, destinations? The sky is the limit for a whimsical, light-hearted 2026!

So that happened. Unfortunately, the Immaculate Vegan fashion and gift online platform closed down. It’s a sad time, as that business was a fresh and exciting voice in vegan, ethical fashion and gave so many great brands the exposure they truly needed.

As well, Immaculate Vegan gave me a chance to be an affiliate when my blog was very small and very unpolished, something many platforms and companies don’t usually do. I will always be so grateful for the opportunity and access to so many wonderful vegan, ethical products.

As I’m still an affiliate and fan of some great vegan, sustainable, ethical brands, I’m going to keep making my style boards. At the moment, my access to bags is limited, but I still have shoes and clothing to tell you about! I will also try to offer more selections through my Benable shop.

There is a lot of change and unrest in the world, in ways big and small. Sometimes, it’s good to take a break and reassess, but then get back to work. For me, I have felt a little all over the place, and making my style boards, spending time happily picking out and curating items, is a source of peaceful joy for me.

What can I say, some people have mini zen gardens or desktop kinetic sand art – I have ethical fashion style boards!

Is it really March already? This year is flying by! I feel like I can barely keep up as we go barreling toward the end of the school year and onto summer plans. I’m still savoring the last bits of snow and can’t wait to ski one last time, but so many brands are releasing their spring-summer items, and I have to say, I’m here for it all!

So much whimsical style. Whimsy is one of the hot trends this season, and I’m so excited, as that’s pretty much what I’m about. I like to call it storybook chic, but as long as it’s ethereal, multi colored with interesting prints, mixed with memories of laughter, walks in the woods, and smells of the sea – call it what you want! Do you love the whimsical style too?

I have so many things on my plate lately, and I never feel like I’m getting ahead. Between language learning, tutoring, taking care of my family, and organizing for some big life changes, I thought I might take a break from my blog. Maybe take some months off and return in September when I’m more settled.

However, I realized making these style boards and posting a few travel or lifestyle posts here and there brings me a lot of joy and peace. Nothing like looking at some lovely clothing and accessories, or reminiscing about a past restaurant experience or holiday to bring a feeling of peace and calm.

A new year is upon us, and I’m feeling different, changed. After all of these years of scooping up anything with a vegan label, I’ve started, like others, to wonder if vegan isn’t enough, and I need to be more careful about what fabrics I wear.

I’m not sure if it’s the AI all around me, or the Robots on the horizon, but I find myself craving nature. I yearn for cold air and forest walks, and I’m concerned about the planet and the vast amounts of unwanted clothing that wash up on beaches. So, here are a few lovely items, clothing and accessories, thoughtfully, ethically made and hopefully worn for years.

Chestnuts are really roasting on an open fire here in Catalonia! I can’t believe how close we are to Christmas and how little I have prepared! But some great brands just released a lot of great sweaters, dresses, shoes, bags, and jewelry for the festive winter season!

Whether you need a dress for a luncheon or something to wear to the office Christmas party, something sleek for a night out, or cozy for a winter getaway, there are so many options!

I can’t get enough of the cold crisp air and fingers crossed November rain! I’ve been able to wear my new winter coat a few times, and I might be bringing out my knee-high boots ahead of schedule.

As much as I love summer, I have been waiting (not so patiently) for all the brands to drop their fall collections.

Bring on the sweaters and cardigans, as well as dresses and skirts. I have a lot of dresses(always need more), but I’m starting to gravitate towards skirts and blouses, knitwear, and coats.

Additionally, I really need to purchase a few lovely totes this fall/winter season – now, if I could only decide which ones!
