Well Lived Expat

The expat life is definitely for those who seek adventure, have a certain curiosity, or have an interest in understanding the world in ways they can’t attain staying in their home country.

It’s not always an easy life and things don’t always go according to plan, but I’ve yet to meet a person who regretted their foreign living experience.

I have learned quite a bit about life and myself from being an expat. When I was younger, I saw everything as either a success or a complete failure. Every situation I found myself in was the result of me doing well or being unable to make good decisions – so dramatic!

I don’t see life like that anymore but rather as a journey, a sometimes good, sometimes challenging road that involves taking the odd risk, trying new things, and hopefully visiting and perhaps living in places that excite and intrigue me.

Do you feel the same?
