The Versatile Closet…
Just a few recommendations for creating a wardrobe that is gorgeous and functional. As much as I love a bold patterned dress or artfully designed shoe, I need versatile pieces that can be worn regularly.
I’m at an age where I expect my clothes and accessories to last many years, so I’m constantly balancing between flair and function.
This fall/winter round-up is filled with items that can be worn regularly in multiple ways and styles.
If you’ve been around my blog or Instagram for a while, you’ll know that I’m obsessed with V.Gan knee-high boots. After buying the brown version and proudly wearing them and promoting them last winter, I recently purchased the black version! So, get ready for more vegan leather knee high boot looks!
I’ve been talking about it for ages, but I think this is the season I finally splash out on some loafers! Barcelona is such a good place for loafers as it never really snows here in the city, so some great loafers can take you right through the fall into spring. I adore this petal, sand color from Minuit Sur Terre – so chic!
If you’re lucky enough to need a closetful of raincoats, add this lovely belted raincoat/jacket by Albaray. I love it! With a dress or pants, it’s a wonderful addition to your rainy day ensemble.
I need to check the Immaculate Vegan website in other countries more often as I just discovered this vegan brand, Pixie Mood today! It’s a fabulous brand from my hometown that I’ve never heard of before.
I’m overwhelmed with all their great colors, shapes, and textures -what a fantastic find! I featured this recycled vegan leather crossbody clutch as it would be the perfect bag for a night out for dinner, the symphony, or the theatre.
Another great brand from Canada, jeane&jax, I can’t get over this slouchy hobo bag in Saffron or the black weave clutch! The Saffron hobo bag is magnificent for fall and I feel like it’s the bag you bring out every September for years to come.
Another favorite brand, a little closer to my adopted home country, is Canussa. This gorgeous brand from Valencia, Spain makes lovely totes and accessories.
I’ve been telling my husband for years that I need some of their bags! This shopper is amazing and would go well with my brown knee-high boots or future brown loafers…not that we have to always match our bags and shoes!
And, of course, after years of laser like focus on dresses and footwear, I’m finally in a place where I’m ready to focus on sparkly, dainty things. This new to me brand Bloomtine, is the perfect jeweler to find some truly beautiful, wearable jewelry.
